Start to move
So over the past few days I'd vaguely noticed the tingly, electric sensation along my transported nerve expressing itself a bit more forcefully than usual. But I was busy at work, and there were a couple of gigs I wanted to see, and then I had a hangover that wiped me out for a bit... and after that cleared up, I remembered to take a close look at myself in the mirror.
And there it was. When I asked it to, my right cheek muscle twitched, ever so slightly; not that you'd notice if you weren't looking for it, not enough to raise the corner of my mouth yet, not enough to make me smile. But still, you know, moving. For the first time in three and a half years.
The sun is shining outside right now and I'm feeling quite happy.
